How to Register for the 2025 A.A. International Convention

The 2025 International Convention of Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) is set to take place in Vancouver, British Columbia, from July 3–6, 2025. The registration process opens on September 10, 2024, at noon Eastern Time. Whether attending in person or virtually, this guide will walk you through the registration options and key details.

Registration Options

There are two ways to register for the event:

  1. Online Registration: For those looking to streamline the process, online registration allows you to register and add housing, if needed, through the vendor, Showcare. After completing registration, attendees seeking housing can book accommodations directly.

  2. Print Form Registration: If you prefer mailing in your registration, you can use the print form. However, due to security guidelines, you won’t be able to provide credit or debit card information on the form. Instead, registration payments can be made by check or money order only.

    Note: If the print form is received before September 10, 2024, it will not be processed until the official opening date.

Housing Requests

For attendees requiring housing, there are two ways to secure accommodations:

  • Online: After registering online, you'll be able to book housing directly through the portal.
  • Print Form: On the printed form, indicate your housing price range. A confirmation email will follow, allowing you to finalize your reservation with a credit card.

Virtual Participation

For those unable to attend the convention in person, there’s an exciting new option: a two-day virtual session program track. This includes eight live-streamed sessions, available for a fee of $35 (USD). Additionally, you can purchase a video product of the Three Big Meetings for $60 (USD), which will be available for viewing after the convention​.

Important Dates and Deadlines

  • Registration Opens: September 10, 2024
  • Advanced Registration Deadline: April 15, 2025 (Early bird registration fee: $160 USD, or $216 CAD for Canadian residents paying by CAD check)
  • After April 15, 2025: Registration fees increase to $185 USD or $250 CAD
  • Virtual Session Fee: $35 USD or $47 CAD​.

Cancellations and Refunds

If you need to cancel, all cancellations must be made in writing and received by May 9, 2025. A $15 USD processing fee will be deducted from your refund. Unfortunately, no refunds will be provided for ancillary products​.
